Mini-Cupcake

For anyone who knows me, it's no secret that I love anything that is miniaturized. I will squeal in excitement at miniature ANYTHING. This next card was actually a fluke, but it's given me an even better idea which I'll go ahead and show in the next few days.

I made this miniature cupcake. I used the Rock Princess cartridge and I cut the cupcake at 2". If you click on the picture to enlarge it, you'll see that I hand-stamped the decorative paper behind it with My Pink Stamper's Sweetest Cupcake stamp set(one of my personal faves!). My favorite part of this card, besides the stamping, is the glitter on the cupcake. It's Martha Stewart glitter that I got on sale at Michael's. Also, I used a REAL cupcake paper for the bottom as if it was really baked. Ok, I know, who am I kidding, it still doesn't look real!! LOL. You can't tell, but I also used Glossy Accents for the cherry. Believe me, this card is much more effective in person!!

Well, I woke up to a nice roaring thunderstorm this morning. I so wish I could have stayed in bed. There's nothing like a dark rainy morning for sleeping!! Since my husband's job requires him to be "on call" at all times, he usually stays home on Fridays, so I just LOVE them. We may be looking at trading in my car today too. I can't even begin to tell you how much that excites me! I've had the same car for years(my first car purchase) and I'm ready for a real, genuine, bonafide, adult car. LOL!! I hope you all have a blessed Friday!!
