A New Set

Hey all!

I haven't had much time for card making, as of late, but last night I finally got some!! My sister's birthday is next week, and I knew I wanted to make her a set of cards. She's newly engaged and I know she's going to need lots of Thank You cards.

These are A2 sized cards and I cut the birdcage from the Straight From the Nest cartridge at 4". So EASY! The stamp is from My Pink Stamper, of course! I hope you are having a great weekend!!

My Pink Stamper Design Team Project for June

Hey!!

It's time for the My Pink Stamper Design Team project for June. Our theme this month is Bright & FUN!! Wouldn't it be the best day ever if you were a squirrel and a plethora of rainbow colored acorns were falling out of a tree just for you? Ok, you probably think I'm weird, but it's ok, because I am. Here is my project.

This is an A2 sized card made from kraft paper. I cut the squirrel and tree from the Cindy Lou cartridge. The squirrel was cut at 1.5" and the tree at 4". The acorns were from the Create a Critter cartridge and were cut at 1".

Now onto the good part. The sentiment!! This stamp is from My Pink Stamper's new stamp set called Birthday Crazy. You can get this AWESOME set here!!

I hope you enjoyed this month's projects for My Pink Stamper!!! :)

My Pinkalicious Blog Hop for June!!

Happy June!

It has been SO hot, and even though it isn't technically summer yet, it sure has felt like it!!  If you came here from Kassidy's blog, you're in the right place! If not, start on over at My Pink Stamper!! This month's blog hop theme is SUMMER!!

I love the way this card came out! Robyn's new stamp sets are incredible. Don't you just love the size of the font on this one? This is from her Friend-tastic set, which can be found here.

This is your regular, run of the mill, A2 sized card. I cut the hamburger and hot dog at 1.5" each from the Simply Charmed cartridge. Grilling out is my favorite thing about summer. It doesn't matter if you're on the lake, the beach or the patio, hot dogs and hamburgers say SUMMER!! If you want to see what the other lovely ladies have done for this month's hop, Miss Lori is next!! Hope on over to her blog and see what her talented hands have created!! Happy hopping!

PS- If you're lost, check out the entire list below. :)

What I've Been Up To

Hey all!!

I have been SO busy with so many things for what seems like forever, but I actually think it's been about two months. After June is over, things are going to get a lot quieter for me, which means A LOT more crafting!!

I've decided to stop watching the cute little baby I've been taking care of for 6 months. My official last day is the 17th. My piano lesson business is growing. I started with 3 students and now have 15! I want to double that by the fall!

My husband has been away at a Conference and will be back Wednesday. I am carting kids around, teaching piano lessons and getting ready for VBS which is next week! The day after that, my father is flying down from Massachusetts.

Talk about busy!!! I have hardly had any time to do the things I really enjoy, like crafting!!

I can't wait to get the extra time so I can see what my friends have been creating on their blogs. Also, stay tuned for My Pinkalicious Blog Hop on Friday night!! :)

My Pink Stamper Project for May

Hey all!!

We've got a very special holiday coming up! Father's Day! Most fathers do so much for their families without much appreciation. This month's theme is Father's Day or anything guy related!

Here is mine, and I totally had my Dad in mind when I made this:

I always used to LOVE calling my Dad my FAVORITE DAD!! He'd just say, I'm your only dad! He was so right, but I still think it's cute to say he's my favorite.

The inside looks like this:

You can't even begin to know the many ways my father has been there for me. This stamp was just PERFECT!!! Let's get onto the details.

Recipe:

A2 sized card made with Kraft paper
Decorative Papers from DCWV
Cardstock from Stampin' Up
Buttons
Twine
Adhesives
My Pink Stamper Friend-tastic Stamp Set
Cricut Classic Font Cartridge (Cut the letters at 1.4" length on the Gypsy)

This card was SO easy! Go see what everyone else has created at My Pink Stamper and have a GREAT day!!

National Scrapbooking Day with My Pink Stamper!!

Hello all, and Happy National Scrapbooking Day! I made the above card for Robyn at My Pink Stamper. She's hosting a whole day of celebrations including two new projects every hour, so stop on over there and see what the party is all about!!!!

I'm Baaack!

Wow!! Thank you for all of your sweet and wonderful comments! Such a pleasant surprise! ;)

We got back from Disney yesterday, and boy did we have fun!! I also enabled my friend by giving her the smaller Cricut that I originally got for Christmas. In return, she gave me a Disney cartridge and I cannot WAIT to use it!!

Well, there are a few thank you's in order for some of our friends. Some of our parishioners offered to dog-sit for us while we were away and we are SO thankful! My little dog is like a child to me, so I was able to have a worry-free vacation knowing she was safe with people we know. Here's a quick card I whipped up as a thank you to them:

I used the Just Because Cards cartridge and cut the dog at 10" on my Gypsy, which only yields a 4" x 5" dog(roughly). I used My Pink Stamper stamps for the inside of the card. Everyday Life for the Thank You and Even More Punnylicious for the paw prints! How cute is that? It's almost like my little doggie signed the card herself, HA!

Some of our Disney highlights were 1) Seeing our friends who moved away months ago 2) Spending time with the girls at the Disney parks 3) Being kids again!

Here's our two girls 16 and 12. Their birthdays are this week and next, so technically they are 15 and 11. Really, I didn't care what we did the whole time. I wanted them to have the time of their lives and have family memories to cherish forever. Even though I didn't give birth to these girls, I love them as if I did. I feel incredibly blessed that they live with us and that I get to be a co-parent alongside my husband. I hope you all had a great week. Even though I am experiencing a little sadness being back to "grind," I'm glad to be back in the world of papercrafting!!
