Inking It Up Crazy's Birthday Week!

Hey there!

I'm so excited to be a part of Kassidy's Guest Design Team at Inking It Up Crazy this week!! This week's theme is Birthdays. My assignment was to make something in which you could wrap or package a gift, so I came up with this:

I had SO much fun making this. I wanted to keep it simple, but I also wanted it to be gender neutral. Don't you think this could work for a guy OR a gal? I really hope you like it!

Recipe:

Plain gift bags(I got mine at the Dollar Tree, 2 for $1)
Decorative paper and cardstock
Celebrate with Flourish cartridge
Glue

The decorative background paper was cut just a little smaller than the face of the bag and adhered with my ATG gun. The outer circle was cut at 8.29", and the inner circle was cut a little smaller at 7.59". I cut the "Happy Birthday" at 4.06" using all of the layers on the cartridge.

You could easily spruce this up with some stickles or ribbon. I just wanted to keep it more on the gender neutral side. There's not enough Cricut projects to please our men, in my humble opinion! ;)

Anyway, please hop on over to Kassidy's blog to see what other amazing designs are out there. Be sure to go back to Monday's post so you can see them ALL!! Thanks for stopping by. :)

I love the card and gift box. I would never have thought to stamp the ribbon. I am definitely trying that.
