My Pinkalicious Blog Hop-March

Hey everyone! It's time for another My Pink Stamper Blog Hop!!! Can you believe it's March already? If you came here from Tracy's Blog (Craft Junkie Too), you're in the right spot. If not, hope on over to My Pink Stamper to start the hop!! :)

This month's theme is Spring using any of Robyn's stamp sets. I decided to do something totally different. I have been on a candle kick lately. You should see my house. I have WAY too many scented candles, LOL! Not to mention they all have different scents. ;) Well, my friend and I were talking about labels. She peels the labels off of everything! Shampoo, soap, you name it. It dawned on me that I could totally make my own label for a candle, especially if it was going to be a gift for someone else. And what's a gift without a gift tag? See where I'm going with this? ;)

The candle label was cut to fit a large Yankee Candle, but of course this is easy to adapt to any sized candle. In fact, getting the mini jars would be perfect for party favors for a bridal shower, baby shower, dinner party, garden party...you name it.

The tag(before the ribbon)!

Here is the label before it's on the candle.
Recipe:

~Kraft paper, 4" tall for a large Yankee style candle, make it as long as you like. It doesn't have to wrap around the whole candle!
~Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge, letters cut at 2-1/2", flourishes cut at 1" with layers, frame cut at 3" with layers
~Stickles
~iRock for center of flowers
~Hole punch for "tag" and ribbon to tie around the cover

That's it!! Thanks for stopping by! Your next stop is CarrieAnne and if you're lost, not to fear! Here is the entire list to help you get back on track. :)

I love what you did with this! You could be selling these for shower favors if you are up to it! I had done this with the small candle tins for a baby shower and let me tell you, everyone just went nuts over them! I'm sure the large ones would be a huge hit! They would be so cute around the house! Nice work!

Nice idea, love the colors! When my kids were young before I had a cricut, we made these for the teachers, scout leaders, etc and had the class or troop sign their names before gluing the label to the glass - always a hit!
